Great ageing potential! » — Jean-Baptiste Lécaillon, Cellar Master Produced uniquely during the best years, when the Chardonnay (around 40%) and Pinot noir (around 60%) grapes have attained perfect maturity, Cristal is aged for 6 years in Louis Roederer’s cellars and left for a further 8 months after dégorgement. 2015 followed a mild, wet winter and a hot, dry summer, relieved by welcome rain at the end of August. The concentration of that year is captured in Cristal 2015: intense, concentrated and vibrant, with a powdery texture and a salivating, saline finish.
